The spherical line of this hand-made Murano glass and mouth-blown vase enhances the elaborate burgundy weaving of the design with veins that recall the characteristic shell of the sea cicadas called in Venetian dialect “canoce”.
The bottom of the vase is deliberately “imperfect” with the prop, an unequivocal sign that the object was opened by hand.
The sizes and colors may not correspond exactly to the photo as each piece is unique in its execution.
