The line is deliberately irregular with “thrusts” typical of the Venetian “goto”.
The colors are given by transparent and opaque glass patches applied that create a mosaic of shades as in the costume of Arlecchino, a typical Venetian mask of the commedia dell’Arte.
Everything is embellished with scattered murrine.
