Murano Glass Vase
Foscarini, Balotòn Vase in Amethyst Murano Glass. Entirely handmade. The “balotòn” is a particular process that creates a diamond pattern on the surface of the glass that gives a faceted effect typical of many traditional Murano glass which becomes, in the essentiality of the design and color, contemporary.
The bottom of the vase is deliberately “imperfect” with the prop, an unequivocal sign that the object is opened by hand. The sizes and colors may not exactly match the photo as each piece is unique in execution.
